Round Arch Mouldings, one of the most ancient and striking elements of architectural design, are brought back to life in contemporary living spaces with Polure's modern approach. These forms, symbols of aesthetics and elegance since antiquity, are now significantly lighter, more durable, and more accessible thanks to Polure's high-density material. For interior designers, architects, and homeowners who value aesthetics, we offer one of the most prestigious ways to add a sophisticated touch to any space. These products surpass expectations with their superior performance, leaving behind the heavy and laborious processes of traditional marble blocks or plaster castings.
Superior Material Technology with the Polure Difference
Polure Round Arch Mouldings possess unique material properties that set them apart from other alternatives on the market. Their high-density composition provides exceptional impact resistance and structural integrity. Unlike wood's tendency to swell with moisture or plaster's propensity to crack and break, our polyurethane arch mouldings exhibit moisture resistance. Their low water absorption helps the products retain their form and aesthetic, depending on the paint system and exposure, even in challenging conditions such as bathrooms, kitchens, or exterior facades. These features are an indispensable advantage for professionals seeking long-lasting, maintenance-free solutions.
Unlimited Design Flexibility and Precision Detail
The Round Arch Moulding models in the Polure collection are offered in a variety to meet every architectural need. With different width options ranging from 115 cm to 135 cm (e.g., products with codes P1456D115VI and P1456D135VI), they adapt to every space, from wide openings to narrow niches. CNC precision in the manufacturing process guarantees millimeter-perfect symmetry at every point of the curve and a smooth texture on the surface. This allows your products to be easily painted with any interior or exterior facade paint, perfectly integrating into your project's color palette. For instance, the P1456D115VIA model, with its dimensions of 267x1550x982 mm, creates an impressive focal point in large living room entrances or hotel lobbies, while the P1456D115VID model, measuring 170x1550x871 mm, can be preferred for more elegant interior ceiling-to-wall transitions or bookshelf niches. Each decorative arch moulding softens the vertical and horizontal lines of the space, adding depth and a sophisticated atmosphere to the structure.
Round Arch Mouldings That Define Spaces
The use of circular forms in a structure creates a calming and inviting effect on human psychology. Polure Round Arch Mouldings are more than just transition areas; they are powerful design elements that define the character of a space. When used in hotel, villa, or luxury residential projects, for entrance portals, corridor transitions, or above windows, they instantly add prestige and classic elegance to the space. The lightweight nature of these products allows them to be safely used in restoration projects of old buildings or on drywall partitions without requiring static load calculations. These archways, an effective instrument for designers looking to soften the sharp lines of modern architecture, lend a timeless charm to spaces. A decorative transition arch used above doors can transform an ordinary doorway into an artistic opening.
Ease of Installation and Sustainability
The installation of Polure Round Arch Mouldings is considerably simpler compared to traditional heavy arches. The material's lightness accelerates transportation and application processes, reducing labor costs. This helps professional teams optimize project timelines and enables experienced homeowners to undertake their own projects. Thanks to their long-lasting and maintenance-free structure, the products remain as good as new for years, eliminating the need for frequent renovations. This makes Polure both an economical and environmentally friendly sustainable choice. Each round wall arch adds value to your spaces while saving you time and resources.

Usage Areas
Polure Round Arch Mouldings offer versatile solutions that combine architectural elegance and functionality in both interior and exterior spaces. Indoors, they create an impressive first impression in wide living room transitions or at corridor ends, providing visual continuity while connecting spaces. In luxury apartments or hotel lobbies, they serve as a grand entrance arch, welcoming guests with a majestic doorway frame. They can be used as an aesthetic divider between a dining room and kitchen, or between a bedroom and a dressing area, creating a visual separation without physically dividing the spaces. They form a decorative frame in headboard niches, within bookshelves, or around mirrors in bathrooms. Models like P1456D135VIC can even transform standard door frames into luxurious transition portals. On exterior facades, they add a classic touch to windows and main entrance doors of villas or historic buildings, lending depth and character to the facade. They integrate with window sills to create a cohesive exterior facade design. They provide an aesthetic frame for balcony and terrace exits, harmonizing with the building's overall architecture and enriching the outdoor perception. On the exterior facades of boutique hotels, at restaurant entrances, or around cafe windows, they create memorable details that reflect brand identity.
Installation
Before beginning the installation of Polure Round Arch Mouldings, ensure that the application surface is free of all dust, dirt, and grease, and is dry and smooth. This is a critical step for the adhesive to achieve maximum grip. The center point of the area where the arch will be positioned must be precisely determined, and markings should be made according to the product's dimensions (e.g., measurements of the P1456D135VID model). If the arch's size or angle requires specific adjustment for your project, clean and smooth cuts should be made using a fine-toothed hand saw or a professional miter saw. The easy workability of polyurethane material makes this stage practical. On the rear surface of the product, a high-performance, fast-curing mounting adhesive, such as Polifix, should be applied in even strips or at specific intervals as dots. Ensure that sufficient adhesive is applied correctly. After applying the adhesive, the arch should be carefully placed in the pre-marked area and gently pressed to seat it firmly on the surface. Thin nails, tape, or mounting supports can be used to prevent the product from shifting until the adhesive fully cures (typically 15-20 minutes). Any gaps at the arch's joints or where it meets the wall should be filled with acrylic caulk or a lightweight filler material. This process ensures a seamless transition and finish. Once the filler material dries, the surface should be lightly sanded with fine-grit sandpaper to ensure smoothness, and then proceed with paint application.
Care Information
Polure Round Arch Mouldings are designed to offer long-lasting and effortless use. Maintenance routines are quite simple, ensuring the products retain their original aesthetic for years. To clean dust and light dirt from the surface, a soft, damp cloth and a pH-neutral, mild detergent are sufficient. Harsh chemical, abrasive, or solvent-based cleaners must be strictly avoided, as such substances can damage the paint layer or degrade the material's structure. Under normal conditions, the service life of the products depends on the paint system and exposure. However, it is recommended to inspect joints once a year for micro-cracks that may arise from building movements. Any small cracks that may occur can be easily filled with acrylic caulk or lightweight filler materials to restore the original appearance. In the event of deep impacts or unexpected damage, repairs can be made using special polyurethane-based fillers. These fillers are compatible with the material's structure and, once dry, can be sanded and painted for a flawless repair. With regular and proper care, your Polure Round Arch Mouldings will continue to add value to your spaces for many years to come.
