Polyurethane Round Curved Arch and Window Jamb Model

The P14D20D60VI round curved arch is specially designed to crown windows, doorways, or wall niches with an elegant curve in both interior and exterior architectural designs. This decorative element softens sharp, straight lines in buildings, creating a balanced visual harmony in neoclassical, classical, or modern-classical styles. With its high impact resistance, it offers long-lasting durability for both exterior facade applications and high-traffic interior spaces.

The product measures 854 mm in width, 427 mm in height, and 49 mm in depth. This curved profile, featuring a perfect semi-circular form, is manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (PU) with a density of 150-220 kg/m³. This structural density, comparable to the hardness of wood, helps the material retain its shape over time. Thanks to its closed-cell structure that is resistant to water and moisture, it helps prevent issues such as swelling, rotting, cracking, or insect infestation. These superior physical properties make it far more durable than traditional plaster, concrete, or wood alternatives.

Looking at the product design, the interlocking circular stepped layers and smooth flat surface details immediately stand out. These symmetrical and clean profile lines create a play of light and shadow on the applied surface, adding depth and dynamism to the space. Delivered from the factory with a smooth white primed finish, it provides an ideal base for the final coat of paint. For exterior applications, UV-resistant paints should be preferred to protect the material from sun damage and yellowing.

This decorative curved arch caters to a wide range of applications, from private villas to hotel projects, restaurant entrances, and historical building restorations. Indoors, it is ideal for defining hallway transitions, decorating fireplace mantels, or creating elegant niche designs behind headboards. On exteriors, it can be positioned as a pediment or window header, adding value to the building's facade design and achieving a prestigious look.

Thanks to its practical installation features, it saves both labor and time. The product is adhered to a clean surface using Polure Polfix adhesive and should also be mechanically secured with screws. Although the factory-applied primer prepares the surface for painting, applying an additional primer is at the customer's discretion, as paint manufacturers guarantee their own primers. Once screw holes and joints are puttied and sanded, it can be easily painted with water-based or synthetic paints.
