The P2002D187VO decorative curved arch is a rigid polyurethane architectural component designed to soften linear edges and add architectural depth to both interior and exterior designs. It is the perfect architectural profile for creating elegant circular transitions over doors and windows, bringing dynamic aesthetic movement to flat wall surfaces. From classic portico designs to modern transitional hallways, it serves as a sophisticated crowning element across a wide range of design styles.

Engineered for durability, this product is manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (rigid PU) with a density of 150-200 kg/m³. Featuring a profile width of 37 mm, an arch span of 1180 mm, and an arch depth of 300 mm, it offers a perfectly balanced circular form. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, its water absorption rate is below 1%, completely preventing swelling, rotting, or deformation even under direct contact with moisture, humidity, and water. It maintains its dimensional stability in temperatures ranging from -20°C to +80°C, ensuring no expansion or shrinkage.

The design features a stepped, smooth profile cross-section that blends clean, sharp lines into a graceful circular arc. This neoclassical form offers a sleek, noble aesthetic rather than heavily carved motifs. While the rear mounting channels facilitate easy installation, the precise lines on the front surface capture light and shadow beautifully, adding depth to the facade. It can be seamlessly integrated with straight casing profiles to create cohesive door and window frames.

Its applications are highly versatile. Indoors, it is frequently used for grand living room transitions, entryway and hallway arches, decorative wall niches behind headboards, and elegant fireplace surrounds. During installation, the lightweight nature of the product offers a significant advantage over traditional plaster or marble arches. Unlike fragile plaster, it does not crack or break during transport and handling. Since it lacks the moisture sensitivity of wood, it is immune to insect infestation and rot. For installation, Polure Polfix adhesive should be applied to a clean surface, followed by mechanical fastening with screws. Once the joints are filled and sanded, the surface is ready for painting.

The product comes factory-primed in white, which enhances topcoat adhesion. However, since paint manufacturers may not warranty applications without their own primers, applying an additional primer coat before the final paint is entirely at the user's discretion. For outdoor applications, a UV-resistant exterior paint must be used to protect the material from sun damage.
