Looking at its technical specifications, the profile features a height of 150 mm, a depth of 37 mm, and a standard length of 2400 mm. Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (rigid PU) with a density of 150-220 kg/m³, it offers a surface hardness comparable to wood while remaining exceptionally lightweight. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, its water absorption rate is below 1%, allowing it to be used in demanding environments—from damp bathrooms to exterior facades—without swelling, rotting, or cracking.
The smooth surface design of the product harmonizes subtle stepped transitions on the top and bottom edges with an elegant concave curve in the center. Delivered pre-primed with a special white factory coating, this surface facilitates excellent topcoat adhesion. However, to ensure paint manufacturers can guarantee their own products, applying an additional primer coat is optional and left to the customer's discretion. Offering a wide range of applications, this decorative element can be utilized indoors as an elegant chair rail on living room, hallway, and lobby walls, or as a wide ceiling cornice. On exteriors, it performs excellently as a horizontal band (belt course) to emphasize floor transitions. When used outdoors, it must be coated with a UV-resistant exterior paint to preserve its color against weathering.
Offering a low risk of breakage compared to plaster alternatives and moisture resistance compared to wood, this lightweight profile makes the installation process highly practical. During application, it is placed on a clean and dry surface using 45-degree miter cuts. For bonding, only Polure Polfix adhesive must be used, and mechanical fastening with screws is strictly required. In the final step, joints are filled, sanded, and then ready for painting.
