Polyurethane Belt Course

A belt course (or string course) is a horizontal architectural element used on exterior facades to visually define floor transitions and prevent rainwater from seeping into lower levels. Ideal for multi-story buildings, these moldings create elegant horizontal lines between floors, under eaves, and at plinth levels. Compared to traditional concrete or plaster alternatives, polyurethane belt courses are exceptionally lightweight, putting no extra load on the building's structural system. They offer superior resistance to water, moisture, UV rays, and harsh weather conditions, ensuring they won't crack, peel, or blister over time. Easily paintable with acrylic exterior paints, they can be quickly installed using special polyurethane adhesives. Polure manufactures high-density polyurethane belt courses in its own facilities, guaranteeing dimensional stability, a smooth surface finish, and long-lasting durability.
