Located in the dynamic urban fabric of Gebze, Shiboo Hotel features a striking exterior that blends modern lines with neoclassical aesthetics. The facade design, with shadow plays deepening according to the angle of sunlight and its clean white texture, stands out among surrounding dark-toned buildings, showcasing a prestigious stance. The balanced distribution of wide window openings and polyurethane decorations gives the hotel architecture both spaciousness and a characteristic identity. On the predominantly white facade, gold leaf signage details and striped awnings on the lower floors create a warm atmosphere that invites guests inside.
Window surrounds using (P1460M10) and (P1458) jamb profiles integrate with (P1459) and (P1465) models that define floor moldings, creating a horizontal rhythm. (P2839) pilaster columns placed on the sides of the windows, supported by (P5024A) and (P5025W) capitals, reinforce the sense of verticality. Decorative crowns (P3040) and (P6034) positioned above upper-floor windows add classic elegance, while (P1456D) corbels support window sills for visual balance. Details like (P5040A) and (P5040W) under the flower boxes prove that the facade was planned down to the finest detail.
All products used in this project were manufactured using high-density precast polyurethane production techniques. Thanks to Polure's advanced molding technology, even complex motifs like (P6043) and (P99143) were applied with smooth and sharp lines. Precast polyurethane elements minimize craftsmanship errors and increase application speed by 50% because they are cast with precise measurements in the factory. These lightweight parts do not increase the building load and are perfectly fixed to the surface with mechanical mounting and special adhesives.
When planning facades for hotels and commercial buildings, durability should be a priority in material selection. Polyurethane products do not swell or peel even in humid areas due to their water-resistant properties. To achieve a look like the Gebze project, a visual hierarchy can be created by surrounding windows with simpler profiles like (P1462) and placing more ornate elements like (P5040B) on the ground floor. Additionally, LED lighting integration between jambs and crowns will make the hotel's night appearance more magnificent.
The placement of vertical pilaster columns and crowns brings a classic palace architecture discipline to the building. The contrast created by white polyurethane elements against textured dark surfaces makes architectural details easy to read from every angle. The thickness of the floor moldings softens the transition between levels while adding a sense of solidity. The use of corbels under windows distributes the decoration density balanced from bottom to top. The harmony between the golden brand lettering and white ornaments creates a design language emphasizing commercial prestige.
