Polyurethane Paneled Pilaster Column

The P5040WP wall cladding element is an architectural decorative component designed to add depth to your spaces with its vertical lines and clean panel structure. Measuring 403 mm in width and 2400 mm in height, this panel creates a column effect on wall surfaces, helping to make ceilings appear taller. Offering moisture resistance compared to wood panels or plaster moldings, it is a reliable choice for both interior living room designs and exterior building facades.

Manufactured with a high-density rigid polymer formula (150-220 kg/m³), this product offers an impact-resistant and durable structure. With a thickness of 43 mm, the panel features a closed-cell structure that prevents any water absorption. This ensures it will not swell, rot, or crack in humid areas like bathrooms or on exterior walls exposed to rain. With dimensional stability tested between -20 °C and +70 °C, this architectural element retains its shape.

The visual design features subtle stepped border details on the edges and a wide, flat central band. This symmetrical and smooth surface structure is ideal for neoclassical projects that blend classic and modern styles. Delivered from the factory with a pre-primed surface, the product ensures excellent adhesion for the topcoat. While an additional primer coat is optional depending on paint manufacturer warranties, it can be easily painted with water-based or synthetic paints.

This decorative pilaster panel is widely used to create vertical zoning in spaces ranging from hotel lobbies to villa facades. During installation, Polure Polfix adhesive should be applied to the cleaned surface, and mechanical fastening with screws is absolutely required. Once screw heads and joints are filled and sanded, coating the exterior applications with UV-resistant paint is mandatory to protect the material from sunlight.

Standing out with its shatterproof and lightweight structure compared to plaster alternatives, this polyurethane pilaster can be easily cut to size on-site for rapid installation. Include the product weight and fixing loads when assessing the substrate and supporting structure.
