Fluted Polyurethane Pilaster Column Wall Decor

The Polure P5040P is a premium decorative element that brings a classic architectural order to wall surfaces with its vertical lines and prominent width. Measuring 400 mm in width and 2400 mm in height, it creates a powerful vertical statement in large-scale spaces and expansive wall areas. This product visually elevates ceiling heights, adding a more spacious and structured character to any room.

Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), this product offers a surface hardness comparable to wood while eliminating the installation challenges of heavy materials like plaster or marble. With dimensional stability tested between -20 °C and +70 °C, this raw material features a water absorption rate of under 1%, making it resistant to moisture, humidity, and harsh weather conditions. Consequently, it can be safely used for both interior designs and demanding exterior facade applications.

At the heart of its visual design, the fluted body structure creates a captivating play of light and shadow through the rhythmic arrangement of vertical lines. These vertical flutes break the monotony of flat walls, offering sophisticated architectural depth. With a depth of 40 mm, the pilaster delivers an elegant relief aesthetic, creating the illusion of an embedded column without protruding excessively.

Offering versatile application possibilities, the P5040P is frequently utilized in residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, restaurant entrances, and fireplace surrounds. On exterior facades, it serves as a non-structural decorative support element on both sides of entrance doors, around window frames, and integrated with floor moldings. For outdoor installations, applying UV-resistant paint is mandatory to protect the material from sun damage.

During installation, Polure Polfix adhesive should be applied to the cleaned surface, followed by mechanical fastening with screws. The product comes pre-primed from the factory, making its surface ready for painting. However, since paint manufacturers may require an additional primer to validate their own system warranties, applying an extra coat of primer before the topcoat remains optional. Polure assumes no responsibility for the performance of paints applied post-installation.
