Manufactured from high-density polyurethane raw material, this pilaster offers a strength close to wood with its 150-220 kg/m³ density, while remaining remarkably lightweight. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, it has low water absorption (below 1%), making it more resistant to moisture, rot, or insect infestation. Unlike fragile plaster or wood alternatives, its impact resistance ensures long-lasting durability. The surface comes with a factory-applied primer coat, facilitating the adhesion of the topcoat paint; however, applying an additional primer in line with specific paint manufacturers' standards is entirely at the user's discretion.
The symmetrical and smooth fluted structure of the product combines with the play of light and shadow on vertical lines to enhance the perception of height in any room. Frequently preferred in neoclassical, classical, and modern-classical design styles, this shaft design offers a cohesive column appearance when combined with matching capitals and bases. It adapts to all weather conditions, with dimensional stability tested between -20 °C and +70 °C without losing its shape.

During installation, Polure Polfix adhesive is applied to the cleaned surface, followed by mechanical fastening with screws. Once joints and screw heads are filled and sanded, the painting process can begin. Its easy-to-cut structure shortens installation time, saving on labor costs.
