Precast Surround Models

Precast surround models are the different design options of surround elements cast in moulds beforehand and used around doors and windows. They come in various cross-sections and forms such as plain, profiled, arched and bossed. While traditional precast surrounds are cement-based, polyurethane surround models achieve the same look in a lightweight material. The parts are cast in factory moulds, mitred at the corners and applied to the facade or wall with mounting adhesive. Polyurethane is lightweight, resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted with exterior paint. Mould production ensures the surround profile has the same cross-section all around the opening. Polure produces precast surround models in a range of profiles, cross-sections and sizes.
