The P3040 wall cladding panel is designed to bring a modern, dynamic depth to surfaces in both interior and exterior applications. Measuring 450x2500x30 mm, this panel makes it easy to achieve a seamless look across wide vertical areas, while creating minimalist lines when installed horizontally.
Manufactured using rigid polyurethane (PU) foam technology, the product features a density of 150-200 kg/m³, offering a hardness comparable to wood. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, its water absorption rate is below one percent, completely preventing the material from swelling, rotting, or losing its dimensional stability in humid environments or harsh outdoor conditions.
The front face of the panel features a sleek, smooth main body accented by an elegant bevel detail at the top. The rear channel structure, visible in its technical cross-section, facilitates air circulation during installation while allowing the adhesive to bond more securely to the surface.
Delivered with a factory-applied white primer, this decorative panel can be easily painted with water-based or synthetic paints. While the factory primer prepares the surface for painting, paint manufacturers often do not guarantee applications done without their own primers; therefore, applying an additional primer coat is optional. For outdoor use, UV-resistant paints are highly recommended.
Significantly lighter than traditional plaster or heavy marble cladding, these modular panels are easily installed without adding extra load to the building structure. During installation, miter joints should be cut at a 45-degree angle and secured with Polure Polfix adhesive. Screw points should then be filled and sanded smooth before applying the final coat of paint.
- Polyurethane wall cladding offers a wide range of applications thanks to its highly versatile nature
- In interiors, it is preferred for creating modern vertical lines behind living room TV units, on bedroom headboard walls, and in entryways or hallways
- In commercial spaces, it can be installed vertically to enhance the scale of prestigious areas such as hotel lobbies, restaurant walls, and office reception backdrops
- Thanks to its fully waterproof structure, it can be safely used in wet areas like bathrooms and spas
- For exterior designs, it is applied with UV-resistant paints to create dynamic surfaces on building entrances, between-floor moldings, or veranda walls
- Ensure that the installation wall is dry, clean, and smooth
- Cut the panels at 45-degree angles using a miter saw according to the project dimensions
- Apply Polure Polfix adhesive to the channels on the back of the panel and press it onto the wall
- To prevent heavy panels from slipping and to increase mechanical strength, securing them with screws at specific points is required
- Fill the joints and screw holes with acrylic exterior putty
- Once dry, sand the putty smooth using 180-220 grit sandpaper
- Complete the installation by applying two coats of water-based or synthetic paint, with an optional additional primer coat beforehand
- Cleaning the product is highly practical
- Dust and dirt can be easily wiped away from the surface using a damp cloth
- Avoid using abrasive chemicals and stiff brushes during cleaning
- For exterior applications, inspect the painted surface once a year and, if necessary, clean it by washing with high-pressure water
