The P9135B is a wide-profile polyurethane architectural element designed to bring depth and classic character to both interior and exterior walls. As clearly shown in the visual, the elegant stepped transitions along the top and bottom edges beautifully frame the wide, flat central surface. This 3D profile design breaks up flat wall surfaces, adding architectural identity and captivating shadow depth to any space.
With a substantial width of 27 cm, a length of 240 cm, and a thickness of 26 mm, this profile delivers a bold and voluminous presence. It is manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-200 kg/m³). While offering a hardness comparable to wood, this lightweight material ensures effortless installation without adding extra load to the structure. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, its water absorption rate is under 1%, completely eliminating issues like moisture, humidity, swelling, or rotting.
The product features a smooth, flat surface pre-coated with a factory-applied white primer, which enhances topcoat adhesion. However, since paint brands do not guarantee applications outside their own priming systems, applying an additional primer coat after installation is entirely optional and left to the customer's preference. Polure does not assume responsibility for the performance of the final paint coats. The product can be easily painted with water-based or synthetic paints.
Thanks to its wide profile, this model is highly preferred as a decorative accent behind TV units in living rooms, for elegant boiserie (wall paneling) in bedrooms, and as a protective, decorative chair rail in hallways and corridors. Offering complete water resistance, it can be safely installed in humid environments like bathrooms and spas. For exterior designs, it serves as an excellent alternative for mid-floor moldings or decorative horizontal bands to add movement to the facade. For outdoor applications, a UV-resistant exterior paint must be used to prevent yellowing from sun exposure.
Compared to traditional materials like plaster or wood, polyurethane panels are far more impact-resistant, crack-free, and long-lasting. For installation, the application surface must be clean and dry. After miter-cutting the profile at 45-degree angles, Polure Polfix adhesive should be applied to the back before placing it on the wall, followed by mechanical securing with screws. Once screw heads and joints are filled with putty and sanded smooth, the final painting process can begin.
- Thanks to its wide-profile structure, the P9135B offers highly versatile applications
- Indoors, it is ideal for creating accent walls behind TV units in living rooms or luxury boiserie (wall paneling) designs framing headboards in bedrooms
- In spacious hallways and corridors, it serves as a protective chair rail above the skirting board, preserving wall integrity
- With its fully water- and moisture-resistant structure, it can be safely used as wall decor in humid areas such as bathrooms, Turkish baths, and indoor pools
- Outdoors, it enriches architectural details as a horizontal mid-floor molding separating building levels or as decorative bands under windows
- In commercial spaces, it is frequently preferred to create a modern and prestigious atmosphere in hotel lobbies, restaurant walls, store displays, and office partitions
- The wall surface to be installed must be dry, smooth, and free of dust
- The P9135B panel should be precisely cut at a 45-degree angle at corner joints using a miter saw
- Apply Polure Polfix adhesive exclusively to the back of the product and the joint seams before placing it on the wall
- For a secure and permanent bond, mechanical fastening with screws is mandatory
- After the adhesive dries, fill screw heads and joints with acrylic putty, and once dry, sand smooth with 180-220 grit sandpaper
- Following an optional primer coat, apply at least two coats of paint to complete the installation
- Thanks to its smooth and closed-cell structure, the product does not accumulate dust or dirt
- A slightly damp, soft cloth is sufficient for cleaning
- To avoid damaging the surface texture, abrasive chemicals, acidic cleaners, or harsh sponges must never be used
- Indoors, it maintains its form for many years without requiring additional maintenance
- For products used on exterior facades, the paint condition should be checked periodically depending on weather conditions, and refreshed if necessary
