Decorative Facade Pilaster

A decorative facade pilaster is a polyurethane ornamental element shaped like a shallow half-column attached to the facade surface. It is used to create a vertical line on the facade and to emphasise window spacings and corners. It is usually applied together with a base and a capital. Polyurethane is lightweight; it is fixed to the facade with mounting adhesive and dowels and adds no extra load to the load-bearing wall. It resists moisture, rain and sun, does not crack or swell and can be painted with exterior facade paint. It is lighter than stone or concrete and installs faster.
