The product's own weight and fixing loads should be assessed together with the installation surface and supporting system. Its closed-cell structure provides strong resistance to humidity and moisture, with water absorption below 1%. This helps prevent the rot, insect damage and expansion associated with wood, as well as the chipping and cracking common in plaster.
Modular Combinations and Design Flexibility
Decorative ornaments can create a focal point on their own or be combined with wall mouldings, ceiling roses and cornices to form richer compositions. For example, our large-scale P28120 motif (880x1660x50 mm) can serve as the main relief on spacious living-room walls or above a bedhead. In more compact spaces and around corners, smaller models such as P2897 (114x172x13 mm) create refined transitions. Left- and right-hand matching models, including P2812L (left) and P2812R (right), help maintain visual balance in symmetrical layouts and classical wall panelling. All products are supplied factory-primed in white, ready to be finished after installation with water-based or synthetic paints to suit the room's colour scheme.

They also create visual continuity in door pediments and decorative window transitions. Models such as P2812L are often used in furniture production to embellish wardrobe doors, console drawers and mirror frames. On exterior facades, they can be used in entrance portals, beneath window surrounds and at string-course junctions to give a building a more monumental appearance. Their weather-resistant construction makes them suitable for villa facades, hotel projects and historic building restoration.
Installation
For a professional, durable installation, follow the fitting steps carefully. First, ensure that the installation surface is clean, dry and free from dust. Measure the ornament's position precisely and mark it with a pencil. Do not use silicone-based adhesives. Instead, use a high-bond polyurethane adhesive such as Polure Polfix. Apply adhesive to the back of the product and position it on the marked area. Large or heavy models must also be mechanically secured with screws until the adhesive has cured. Once curing is complete, fill screw holes and joints with suitable interior or exterior filler. Sand the surface smooth with 180-220 grit sandpaper. Finish with two coats of water-based or synthetic paint over the primed surface. For exterior applications, always use UV-resistant paint.
Care Information
Our decorative ornaments are easy to maintain. Their smooth, closed-cell surface resists dirt and staining and can be cleaned with a soft, lightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive chemicals, thinners and stiff brushes during cleaning. Exterior ornaments may be washed with low-pressure water and a mild detergent to remove accumulated dust and environmental dirt. As unpainted rigid PU can yellow over time, painting after installation is important. When you wish to update the room's colour scheme years later, simply sand the surface lightly and repaint it with a water-based paint in the desired colour.
