The P28120 is a decorative pediment motif featuring rich relief details, designed to create an architectural focal point in large-scale wall and facade designs. With a width of 1660 mm, a height of 880 mm, and a thickness of 50 mm, it creates a grand statement especially on expansive wall surfaces, over-door and window pediments, or as ceiling centerpieces. Remarkably lightweight compared to plaster alternatives, this product stands out for its ease of installation and safe structure that adds no load to the building despite its grand size.
Manufactured from high-density (150-200 kg/m³) rigid polyurethane, this decorative element offers a hardness close to wood. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, its water absorption rate is below one percent, completely preventing rotting, swelling, or cracking in humid climates, bathrooms, or exterior facade applications. It maintains its dimensional stability perfectly, preserving its form against temperature fluctuations ranging from -20°C to +80°C. Resilient against pests unlike wood, and free from crumbling unlike plaster, this material represents a long-lasting decorative investment.
Its visual design features a symmetrical composition reflecting the finest examples of classical architecture. A textured pinecone motif at the center integrates seamlessly with surrounding elegant acanthus leaves and flowing volute scrolls. Geometric interlacing patterns extending to the sides bring a balanced depth to the design, making it ideal for both classical and neo-classical projects. These finely crafted three-dimensional details transform plain walls into artistic relief panels.
With highly versatile application areas, this large-scale motif is frequently preferred in hotel lobbies, villa living rooms, restaurants, and prestigious high-ceiling projects. In exterior facade designs, it serves as an excellent visual accent for animating blank walls, as a pediment over entrance doors, or as under-eave ornamentation. For outdoor use, coating the product with a UV-resistant topcoat paint is mandatory to prevent damage from sunlight.
The product is delivered with a factory-applied white primer that prepares the surface for painting. While this special primer enhances paint adhesion, applying an additional primer coat prior to painting is optional and at the customer's discretion, as paint manufacturers may not warranty applications done without their own primer systems. Polure assumes no responsibility for the performance of the paints used.
To ensure high durability during installation, Polure Polfix adhesive must be applied to a clean and dry surface, followed by mandatory mechanical fastening with screws. Once screw heads and joints are filled with a suitable filler and smoothed with 180-220 grit sandpaper, a flawless finish is achieved by applying at least two coats of water-based or synthetic paint.

- For outdoor applications, coating with a UV-protective paint is mandatory
- Ensure the application surface is dry, clean, and free of dust
- Apply Polure Polfix adhesive in strips to the back of the product (do not use silicone adhesives)
- Align and press the motif onto the wall
- Due to the product's large dimensions and weight, mechanical fastening with screws from perimeter points is mandatory to prevent slipping until the adhesive cures
- Fill screw holes and minor surface gaps with acrylic or exterior-grade filler
- Once the filler dries, smooth the surface using 180-220 grit sandpaper
- An optional extra primer coat can be applied over the factory primer, followed by at least two coats of water-based or synthetic paint to complete the topcoat
- Thanks to the fully water and moisture-resistant nature of polyurethane, maintenance is exceptionally practical
- For interiors, accumulated dust can be easily wiped away with a damp or slightly soapy soft cloth
- Avoid abrasive, acidic, or harsh chemical cleaners as they may damage the surface paint
- For exterior applications, the product can be washed with pressurized water to remove dust and dirt
- The paint finish on this highly impact-resistant, rigid structure can be inspected periodically and retouched as needed depending on outdoor weather conditions
