Its closed-cell structure provides complete moisture and water resistance, preventing structural issues like swelling, cracking, or warping.

Unlike fragile plaster alternatives, it is highly impact-resistant. It avoids the soft, grainy texture of cheap EPS foam, offering crisp, smooth lines that meet the strict aesthetic standards of premium interior design projects.

Thanks to its waterproof properties, it can be safely installed in damp environments like bathrooms and kitchens. The product comes pre-primed in white from the factory. While this factory primer prepares the surface for painting, paint manufacturers often do not guarantee applications done without their own primers; therefore, applying an additional primer before the topcoat is optional and at the customer's discretion. Polure does not accept liability for surface issues that may occur after painting. Since unpainted polyurethane can yellow over time, applying a UV-resistant topcoat is mandatory, especially for outdoor installations.

During installation, Polure Polfix adhesive should be applied to a clean, dry, dust-free surface. For a secure and permanent bond, mechanical fastening with thin screws is required alongside the adhesive. Once screw heads and joints are filled with a suitable compound and sanded smooth with 180-220 grit sandpaper, an optional primer and two coats of paint can be applied to achieve a flawless, professional finish.
