The P2850 decorative motif is designed to add depth to flat surfaces and bring classical architectural details into modern spaces. Measuring 47.7 cm in width, 25.7 cm in height, and 1.8 cm in thickness, this symmetrical ornament creates a balanced focal point on any surface. Its proportions make it ideal for filling large areas along both vertical and horizontal axes.
Crafted from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-200 kg/m³), this product offers the durability of wood while remaining remarkably lightweight. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, its water absorption rate is below 1%, preventing swelling, cracking, or rotting in damp environments. It maintains its shape and dimensional stability in temperatures ranging from -20°C to +80°C.
The visual design features a symmetrical structure inspired by classical Baroque and Rococo eras. At the lower center, a fan-like palmette motif merges with stylized acanthus leaves rising upward. Curving spiral scrolls (volutes) extending to the sides add an elegant, wing-like motion to the design. Thanks to advanced molding technology, every fine carving and relief line is crisply detailed on the smooth surface.
This decorative motif is highly versatile. It is frequently preferred as a centerpiece for wall molding panels, as pediments above interior doors and windows, on fireplace mantels, or on furniture doors. Offering complete resistance to water and moisture, it can also be safely used on bathroom walls or in exterior facade designs.
Installation is carried out on dry, clean surfaces using Polure Polfix adhesive. Mechanically screwing the product to the wall or furniture is recommended for long-term durability. Once joints and screw holes are filled and sanded, the painting process can begin. The surface comes pre-primed from the factory and is ready for paint; however, applying an additional primer coat remains optional based on the paint manufacturer's warranty terms.
- The P2850 decorative ornament offers aesthetic solutions for both interior and exterior designs with its wide range of applications
- Indoors, it serves as an elegant centerpiece for wall molding panels in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms
- In classic furniture designs, it is preferred on wardrobe doors, consoles, and fireplace mantels to achieve a hand-carved wood look
- It can also be positioned as a crowning element above door frames
- Thanks to its complete resistance to water, moisture, and steam, it is perfectly suited for wall decoration in wet areas like bathrooms and kitchens
- In exterior facade projects, it adds value to buildings as a decorative pediment above windows or as an accent motif on cornices
- For outdoor applications, painting the product with UV-resistant exterior paint is mandatory to protect it from sunlight
- The installation surface must be completely dry, level, and free of dust, moisture, and grease
- Position the product on the surface to mark alignment lines
- Apply Polure Polfix polyurethane adhesive to the back and press it onto the surface
- To prevent slipping during the adhesive's curing process, mechanical fastening with screws or a nail gun from hidden spots is required
- Screw heads should be slightly countersunk
- Fill screw holes and gaps along the edges with acrylic putty
- Once dry, sand the surface smooth using 180-220 grit sandpaper
- Complete the installation by applying at least two coats of water-based or synthetic paint, with an optional primer coat if desired
- Polyurethane decorative elements require extremely low maintenance
- Indoors, accumulated dust can be easily wiped away with a damp cloth
- Avoid using abrasive chemicals, thinners, or harsh solvents, as they can damage the paint finish
- For exterior applications, inspect the painted surface every few years and repaint if necessary to extend its lifespan
- Thanks to its waterproof nature, it can also be cleaned by washing with low-pressure water
