The P6401A decorative wall ornament is an aesthetic relief element designed to bring classic architectural details to modern surfaces in both interior and exterior projects. It offers a deep visual dimension to focal areas such as wall panels, door tops, furniture doors, and fireplace surrounds. Elevating the overall prestige of any space by adding movement to plain surfaces, this motif stands out as a complementary element in architectural designs.
The product measures 78 mm in height, 415 mm in width, and 33 mm in depth. These balanced dimensions offer modular ease of use for both wall molding applications on large surfaces and more compact furniture surfaces. Made from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-200 kg/m³), it combines the durability of wood with an ideal lightweight structure for effortless installation.
Its visual design features a symmetrical relief structure resembling interwoven waves and a basketweave texture. Carrying the elegance of traditional hand carving, this horizontal pattern tapers gracefully towards the ends. This embossed texture maximizes the play of light and shadow, creating a dynamic, three-dimensional effect on any applied surface.
Thanks to its closed-cell structure, the material has a water absorption rate of less than 1%. This prevents structural damage such as swelling, rotting, or cracking in humid interiors or harsh exterior environments. Furthermore, it fully retains its shape under temperature fluctuations ranging from -20°C to +80°C, ensuring long-lasting durability.
The product surface comes pre-coated with a white factory primer. While this prepares the surface for painting, paint manufacturers often do not guarantee applications done without their own primers. Therefore, applying an additional primer coat before the final paint is optional and left to the customer's discretion. Polure assumes no responsibility for paint performance.
Easy to work with, the product can be cut and sanded just like wood. For installation, Polure Polfix adhesive must be used along with mechanical fastening using screws. Once installed, screw holes and joints can be filled with putty, sanded smooth, and easily painted with water-based or synthetic paints. For exterior applications, using UV-resistant paint is mandatory.
- The P6401A decorative motif offers versatile solutions for both interiors and exteriors with its wide range of applications
- Indoors, it can be positioned as an elegant accent at the center or corners of wall molding panels in living rooms and hallways
- It is ideal for adding movement to the wall behind headboards in bedrooms or enriching panels behind consoles in dining rooms
- In classic furniture designs, it is highly preferred for achieving a carved wood look on cabinet doors, dresser surfaces, and fireplace mantels
- It can also serve as a decorative crown complement on top of door and window frames
- For exterior designs, when coated with UV-resistant paint, it can be applied under windows, on floor moldings, or on the pediments of entrance doors to give buildings a classic palace architecture feel
- The application surface must be dry, clean, and free of dust
- If necessary, the product ends can be cut at appropriate angles
- During installation, Polure Polfix adhesive should be applied to the back, and the product must be mechanically secured with screws after being placed on the wall
- Screw heads and gaps at the joints with the wall should be filled with a high-quality exterior putty
- Once the putty dries, a smooth surface should be achieved using 180-220 grit sandpaper
- To comply with paint manufacturers' standards, applying an optional extra coat of primer is recommended
- In the final step, the installation is completed by applying at least two coats of paint: water-based or synthetic paints for interiors, and strictly UV-resistant exterior paint for outdoor applications
- Thanks to its rigid and closed-cell structure, maintenance requirements are extremely low
- In case of dusting, it can be easily cleaned with a damp, soft cloth
- To avoid damaging the surface texture, abrasive and harsh chemical cleaners should be avoided
- Since it does not crack, peel, or attract insects, it requires no extra protective maintenance for many years
- For exterior applications, checking the paint surface every few years and repainting if necessary, considering seasonal effects, will extend the aesthetic life of the product
