The P8027M decorative ornament is a premium architectural element that seamlessly blends classic aesthetics with modern material technology. It features a symmetrical design highlighted by a central embossed rose motif and elegant, sweeping leaf details. This piece is specially engineered to add depth and a rich visual layer to both wall and ceiling surfaces.
The product measures 382 mm in height, 600 mm in width, and has a thickness of 75 mm. This substantial thickness creates striking shadow plays and a pronounced three-dimensional effect on any surface. Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-200 kg/m³), this ornament offers a durable surface comparable to hardwood, yet remains incredibly lightweight for effortless installation.
Thanks to its closed-cell structure, the water absorption rate is below 1%. This prevents the product from swelling, rotting, or warping in humid indoor environments or harsh outdoor weather. It can be safely used for both interior decoration and exterior facade embellishments for many years. For exterior applications, coating the material with UV-resistant paint is required to protect it from sunlight degradation.
Compared to traditional plaster alternatives, this impact-resistant and shatterproof decorative motif eliminates waste during transport and installation. Unlike wood, it does not crack over time or suffer from insect infestation, keeping maintenance costs to a minimum. Its easily sandable, fillable, and cuttable nature significantly speeds up the application process.
The product comes pre-primed with a protective factory coating, making the surface ready for painting. While this primer enhances surface smoothness, paint manufacturers often do not guarantee applications done without their own primers; therefore, applying an additional primer coat is optional and left to the customer's discretion. It can be painted with water-based or synthetic paints to match any interior or exterior color scheme.
- Thanks to its triangular pediment form, this decorative motif offers highly versatile applications
- Indoors, it is preferred as an accent piece in the center or top sections of panels in wall molding (boiserie) projects
- It is ideal for creating a classic crown look on top of door and window casings
- It can also be positioned as a complementary detail on empty walls above fireplaces, on top of mirror frames, or inside niches
- Additionally, it serves as an aesthetic transition element around ceiling medallions or in ceiling corners
- Outdoors, it enhances the architectural value of buildings as a decorative relief on villa facades, above window arches, or along floor moldings
- Ensure the application surface is clean, dry, and smooth
- Apply Polure Polfix adhesive to the back of the product and press it onto the surface
- To prevent slipping during the adhesive's drying process, mechanical fastening with screws is mandatory
- Screw holes and joints should be filled with an exterior-grade acrylic filler
- Once the filler dries, sand it smooth using 180-220 grit sandpaper
- Depending on the paint manufacturer's recommendations, an optional additional primer can be applied over the factory primer, followed by two coats of water-based or synthetic paint to complete the process
- Thanks to its fully water- and moisture-resistant structure, maintenance is highly practical
- For indoor use, it can be easily cleaned using a duster or a slightly damp cloth
- Abrasive chemicals or harsh surface cleaners should be avoided during cleaning
- For outdoor applications, the paint should be periodically checked for wear caused by weather conditions
- If fading is observed, the surface can be lightly sanded, cleaned, and repainted with UV-resistant exterior paint to restore its original appearance
