The P8028L decorative ornament is a premium architectural detail designed to add depth, elegance, and an artistic dimension to flat surfaces in both interior and exterior designs. Blending the finest examples of classical architecture with modern manufacturing technology, this piece elevates the overall value of any space by revitalizing plain wall panels, ceilings, door overdoors, and wooden furniture surfaces. It is the perfect accent for interior designers, architects, and homeowners with high aesthetic standards.
Featuring superior technical specifications, this model offers a striking embossed effect with dimensions of 242 mm in width, 425 mm in height, and 55 mm in depth. It is manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-200 kg/m³), the industry standard. This specific density provides the product with the hardness and mechanical durability of wood while maintaining a lightweight structure for easy installation. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, its water absorption rate is below one percent, making it completely resistant to moisture, water, and decay. Furthermore, it maintains its dimensional stability in temperature fluctuations ranging from -20°C to +80°C, preventing cracking or shrinkage.
The design details feature symmetrical acanthus leaves and elegant volute scrolls, lending a neoclassical charm to the product. Intricate relief-carved patterns radiating outward from the center create a captivating focal point through the interplay of light and shadow. Thanks to our advanced molding technology, the precise craftsmanship of these details meets a smooth surface finish, beautifully bringing the feel of traditional hand-carved woodwork into your spaces.
Boasting a wide range of applications, this motif is highly preferred for living room wall paneling, pediments of door and window arches, fireplace surrounds, or headboard designs. It can also be utilized as a decorative filler element in exterior applications, under eaves, or at floor molding joints. For outdoor use, coating the material with UV-resistant paint is mandatory to protect it from solar radiation.
During installation, the absence of risks like breaking, crumbling, or cracking compared to traditional plaster or wood alternatives offers a significant labor advantage. It is applied by spreading Polure Polfix adhesive onto a clean, dry surface and mechanically securing it with screws. Although the factory-applied primer on the product provides a base, any additional primer application remains optional at the customer's discretion, in accordance with paint manufacturers' warranty terms. Polure does not warrant post-applied paint finishes.
- This decorative ornament and applique model offers a versatile range of applications for both interior designs and painted exterior decorations
- Indoors, it serves as a central or corner motif in wall molding projects for prestigious areas such as living rooms, hallways, bedrooms, hotel lobbies, and restaurants
- It can be used as a pediment ornament above door and window frames to evoke a classic palace atmosphere
- In furniture manufacturing, it acts as an aesthetic embellishment for wardrobe doors, dressers, headboards (boiserie), and mirror frames
- Externally, it is ideal as a keystone alternative in window pediment combinations or as a decorative accent under eaves and floor moldings on villa facades
- The application surface must be completely free of dust, moisture, and dirt
- Apply Polure Polfix polyurethane assembly adhesive to the back of the product
- Once positioned on the wall or furniture, the product must be mechanically secured with screws or fine nails to prevent slipping until the adhesive fully cures (silicone adhesives are not suitable for this process)
- Fill screw heads and joints with high-quality exterior filler
- Once dry, sand the surface smooth using 180-220 grit sandpaper
- After an optional additional primer coat, apply at least two coats of water-based or synthetic paint
- Polyurethane decorative elements require extremely low maintenance
- A dry or slightly damp cloth is sufficient for dusting
- Avoid using paint thinners, acetone, or highly abrasive chemical cleaners during cleaning
- For exterior applications, we recommend periodically checking the paint depending on weather conditions and paint lifespan, lightly sanding, and repainting the surface if necessary
