Blending the exquisite details of classical architecture with modern manufacturing technology, the P80237 decorative motif design is a compact decorative element that adds depth and elegance to any surface. Measuring 116 mm in height, 80 mm in width, and 14 mm in thickness, this elegant piece is specially designed for architects and homeowners seeking a finely crafted look for both interior and exterior spaces.
The product is manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (PU) with a density of 150-200 kg/m³. Offering the hardness and durability of wood in a much lighter form, this building material is completely resistant to moisture and water thanks to its closed-cell structure. With a water absorption rate of less than 1%, it can be safely used in humid areas like bathrooms or under harsh outdoor weather conditions without swelling, cracking, or losing its shape.
Featuring a visual design that combines symmetrical acanthus leaves and elegant curves, this relief stands out with its smooth surface details. Delivered from the factory pre-primed in white, the surface is ready for paint adhesion. However, since paint manufacturers do not guarantee topcoat applications without their own primers, applying an additional primer coat before painting is entirely at the user's discretion, and Polure assumes no liability for paint-related issues.
With a wide range of applications, this decorative ornament is highly preferred for furniture doors, corner joints in wall molding projects, and crowning mirror or picture frames. In exterior designs, it can be used on top of window jambs or at entryways to create a complementary keystone effect. Thanks to its lightweight structure, installation is extremely practical.
Unlike traditional plaster, this product does not crack or crumble, nor does it rot or attract insects like wood, minimizing long-term maintenance costs. During installation, once the surface is clean and dry, it should be fixed with Polure Polfix polyurethane adhesive and mechanically supported with nails or screws. After the joints are filled and lightly sanded, it can be easily painted with water-based or synthetic paints.
- Thanks to its versatile design, the P80237 model is widely used in both interior and exterior decorations
- Indoors, it provides an elegant transition as a corner motif, especially in classic wall molding (border) applications
- It delivers excellent results as a furniture applique on wall panels behind headboards, the sides of fireplace mantels, and for decorating built-in wardrobes and kitchen cabinet doors
- On exteriors, it can be positioned as a decorative keystone at the top center of window frames or as a rhythmic decorative element on floor moldings
- It is also a highly preferred complementary element around ceiling medallions or on the corners of door crowns in hotel lobbies, restaurants, and classically decorated living rooms
- The installation surface must be completely free of dust, moisture, and grease
- Apply Polure Polfix polyurethane adhesive to the back of the product and press it onto the target surface
- To prevent the product from slipping during the full curing time of the adhesive, mechanical fastening with thin nails or screws is mandatory
- Under no circumstances should silicone-based adhesives be used
- Screw holes and joints are filled with exterior-grade filler, and once dry, smoothed with 180-220 grit sandpaper
- Following an optional primer coat, the installation is completed by applying at least two coats of water-based or synthetic topcoat paint
- For exterior applications, the use of UV-resistant paint is mandatory
- Polyurethane decorative elements are long-lasting, maintenance-free products thanks to their closed-pore structure
- Cleaning can be easily done with a damp cloth
- The use of thinners, acids, or highly abrasive chemical cleaners is not recommended during cleaning
- For exterior applications, it is advised to periodically inspect the painted surface and refresh it with UV-resistant paint if necessary to extend the lifespan of the finish
- It exhibits high resistance to impacts and does not crack or crumble
