In grand commercial event venues and wedding halls, the vertical dynamics of the walls directly define the prestige of the space. In this featured project, polyurethane columns and arch elements supporting the high ceiling structure blend the structural balance of classical architecture with modern manufacturing technology. The P5220C, P5230I, P5520, and P5820 series column shafts and capitals from the Polure collection eliminate the heavy weight and fragility of traditional plasterwork, offering easy installation and long-lasting durability. This lightweight nature provides a critical safety advantage during installation, particularly in high-ceilinged structures.
The arched niches creating a rhythmic pattern on the side walls of the hall are designed to enhance the sense of depth. The P1456 and P1470 casing profiles framing these niches merge seamlessly with the P1456D135VI and P1456D160VIA curved arch elements at the top, creating a continuous circular line. Thanks to the flexible design possibilities of polyurethane, delicate arch curves—which would take days to craft using traditional methods—are applied to the space with millimeter precision and a flawless surface finish. The P2812L and P2812R ornamental motifs filling the wall spaces further enrich the classical detailing.
In high-traffic, high-acoustic venues like wedding halls, the impact resistance and acoustic performance of wall cladding materials are of paramount importance. Thanks to their high-density structure, Polure polyurethane products offer excellent impact resistance while dampening sound waves to reduce echoing from hard surfaces. The surface structure is fully compatible with gold leaf and patina paint finishes, ensuring no yellowing or flaking over time. This durability translates to significant long-term savings on maintenance and repair costs for venue owners.
The harmony between the cream-toned wall panels and the navy blue and gold accents in the project is flawlessly highlighted by the paintable nature of polyurethane. Half-column variations in different diameters, such as P5220C50, P5230I50, P552050, and P582050, offer flexible solutions tailored to depth variations on the wall surface. Polure's extensive product range grants architects and interior designers the creative freedom to bring classical details to life using modern techniques.
- Integrating columns into the wall surface as semi-circular pilasters prevents space loss while creating a structural column effect.
- Circular arch models with different radii, such as P1456D160VID, provide a gradual ceiling transition depending on the height of the niches.
- Symmetrical ornamental elements P2812L and P2812R fill the gaps in the arch corners, offering the quality of hand-carved craftsmanship.
- The moisture-resistant structure of the polyurethane material helps reduce ceiling cracks in large halls and is resistant to temperature changes.
- Different combinations of column capitals and shafts allow for the creation of a hierarchical architectural order within the space.
- High-density polyurethane exhibits significantly higher resistance to physical impacts at floor level compared to traditional plasterboards.
