Classical Decoration

Classical decoration is an ornamental approach rooted in ancient Greek and Roman architecture, based on rules of symmetry and proportion. It is applied to interiors and exteriors using profiled elements such as cornices, door surrounds, columns, arches and ceiling roses. While these elements were traditionally made of plaster or stone, today they are produced from polyurethane. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted in any chosen color. It installs faster than its plaster equivalent and adds no extra load to the supporting surface. Because it is mould-cast, profile and motif details repeat identically on every piece.
