The P82210 fretwork panel is a functional decorative element designed to add structural depth to your living spaces. Featuring classic acanthus leaf scrolls and symmetrical motifs, this carved piece brings flat walls to life by creating a captivating play of light and shadow through its openwork pattern.
Measuring 240 mm in width, 2100 mm in length, and 35 mm in thickness, this panel can be used horizontally as a floor molding or border, as well as vertically for column cladding and partition details. The rigid raw material used in its production gives the product an ideal density of 150-200 kg/m³. This density allows the material to match the strength of wood while remaining lightweight enough to avoid adding unnecessary load to the structure.
Thanks to its closed-cell formula, its water absorption rate is below 1%. This feature completely eliminates the risk of rotting, swelling, or insect infestation in any environment, from humid bathrooms to rain-exposed exterior facades. It offers an excellent alternative to the fragility of traditional plaster or the moisture-induced warping issues of wood.
Ideal application scenarios include hotel lobbies, restaurant walls, decorative framing behind TV units, and headboard designs. On exteriors, it can be positioned as a pediment above windows or as a transition band between floors. Delivered factory-primed in white, the panel can be painted with water-based or synthetic paints after installation.
For installation, Polure Polfix adhesive should be applied to the cleaned surface, followed by mechanical fastening using screws. While the factory primer makes painting easy, applying an additional primer in line with your chosen paint brand's standards is optional and enhances the durability of the topcoat. For outdoor applications, UV-resistant paints must be used to protect the material from sunlight degradation.
- The P82210 fretwork panel offers a wide range of applications thanks to its rich carved design
- Indoors, it can be used as a horizontal border on living room walls, a decorative panel behind headboards in bedrooms, or a wide crown molding alternative along ceiling edges
- In prestigious projects like hotels, offices, and restaurants, it is ideal for archway decorations connecting columns or embedded within partition walls as room dividers
- Highly resistant to water and moisture, it can also be used on exteriors as decorative window pediments or floor transition moldings, giving buildings a classic architectural identity
- Ensure the application surface is dry, clean, and smooth
- The panel can be cut to desired dimensions using standard woodworking tools
- For installation, apply Polure Polfix adhesive to the back, press it against the wall, and secure it mechanically with screws
- Fill screw holes and joints with high-quality acrylic filler, and once dry, sand smooth with 180-220 grit sandpaper
- An additional primer can optionally be applied to the factory-primed surface based on the paint manufacturer's recommendation
- Complete the process by applying two coats of water-based paint for interiors, or UV-resistant paint for exterior applications
- Cleaning the product is highly practical
- Dust and dirt can easily be wiped away with a damp cloth
- Avoid using abrasive acids or harsh solvent-based chemicals during cleaning
- For exterior applications, it is recommended to inspect the surface once a year and perform touch-up painting if necessary to extend the paint's lifespan and maintain UV protection
