The P8142 fretwork panel is a geometrically patterned wall cladding element designed for architects and homeowners looking to create a sense of depth on interior and exterior walls. Featuring a square format of 570x570 mm and a thickness of 36 mm, the product is manufactured from high-density (150-220 kg/m³) rigid polyurethane. Although it matches the hardness of wood, it is remarkably lightweight and places no additional static load on the building structure. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, it is highly moisture-resistant, preventing rot, insect infestation, or dimensional distortion. With a temperature resistance ranging from -100 °C / +80 °C, it retains its shape for years without expanding or cracking.

The design of the P8142 model stands out with its centrally positioned circular motifs and surrounding interlocking rings. When combined with concealed LED backlighting, this intricate carving technique creates a dramatic lighting effect in any space. The product is delivered from the factory with a pre-applied primer coat, making it ready for the final topcoat. However, since paint manufacturers only guarantee their own primers, applying an additional primer coat prior to painting is left to the customer's discretion. For outdoor applications, a UV-resistant paint is mandatory.

In commercial spaces such as offices, hotel lobbies, and restaurants, they can be utilized as partition walls or room dividers. Thanks to their modular square form, they can be aligned horizontally or vertically to create seamless geometric patterns across large wall surfaces. With a water absorption rate below 1%, they can be safely installed in high-humidity areas like bathrooms. Compared to plaster or wood alternatives, they offer superior resistance to breakage and moisture.

The installation process is exceptionally clean and practical. Unlike fragile plaster, there is no risk of breakage or waste during application. It is secured to a clean surface using Polure Polfix adhesive and then mechanically reinforced with screws. Once the screw heads and joints are filled with joint compound and sanded smooth using 180-220 grit sandpaper, the painting process can begin. This durable polyurethane decorative element enhances overall construction quality with its long-term crack-resistant structure.
