The product is shipped from the factory with a white primer coat applied. Polure does not guarantee applied paints. Polure Polfix adhesive must be used for installation, and it must be supported with screws for mechanical fastening.

Yes, the P8141 fretwork panel is made of polyurethane with a closed-cell structure that has a water absorption rate of less than 1%. Therefore, it does not rot, swell, or crack under outdoor conditions such as rain, snow, frost, and humidity. However, to protect it against the yellowing effect of sunlight, it must be painted with a UV-resistant topcoat when used on exteriors.
Can it be painted directly after installation, or is an additional primer required?
Our products are shipped from the factory with a white primer, which prepares the surface for the topcoat. However, since paint manufacturers do not guarantee paint jobs done without their own system primers, applying an additional primer after installation is optional and left to the customer's preference. Polure cannot be held responsible for paint-related issues.
Can I use silicone adhesive for installation?
No, silicone adhesive should not be used during installation. Silicone can flex and lose its grip over time. For a secure and long-lasting installation, only Polure Polfix polyurethane adhesive must be used, and mechanical fastening with screws is absolutely required to ensure strength.
What are its advantages compared to plaster or wood carved panels?
The disadvantages of plaster, such as fragility and weight, and wood, such as rotting and insect infestation due to moisture, do not exist in polyurethane. Although the P8141 is highly lightweight, it has wood-like hardness, is impact-resistant, is suitable for humid areas, and its sharp details are much smoother thanks to molding technology.
Can the panel be cut or resized?
Yes, these rigid panels with a density of 150-220 kg/m³ (production target ~160 kg/m³) can be easily cut using standard woodworking tools (saws, jigsaws, etc.). They can be resized from the edges according to the application area, and the cut parts can be sanded and filled to achieve a seamless look.
