The P9140 vertical decorative panel is a high-density architectural element designed to add depth and visual texture to interior walls and exterior facades. Measuring 160 cm in height, 40 cm in width, and 4.7 cm in depth, it delivers a striking high-relief effect. Thanks to its modular design, this versatile panel can be used as a standalone focal point or aligned side-by-side to create a seamless, continuous wall covering.
The design features elegant acanthus leaves and floral motifs extending symmetrically upward from a classic vase base. Crafted from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-200 kg/m³), this detailed relief boasts exceptionally sharp, crisp lines. With a hardness comparable to wood, this durable material completely eliminates the cracking and chipping risks associated with traditional plaster casts, while remaining lightweight for effortless transport and installation.
Engineered to meet rigorous physical performance standards, the panel maintains outstanding dimensional stability under extreme temperatures ranging from -20°C to +80°C, resisting shrinkage, expansion, and warping. With a closed-cell structure, its water absorption rate is under 1%. This moisture-resistant property ensures long-lasting durability without the risk of rotting, molding, or pest infestation, making it ideal for damp interiors like bathrooms and kitchens, as well as exterior facades.
The product comes pre-primed in a factory-applied white finish, providing an excellent base for the final topcoat. However, since paint manufacturers typically do not guarantee finishes applied without their own proprietary primers, applying an additional post-installation primer is left to the user's discretion. Polure does not assume warranty responsibility for third-party paints or topcoat applications. For exterior installations, using UV-resistant exterior paint is mandatory to prevent yellowing caused by sunlight.
During installation, Polure Polfix adhesive should be applied to a clean, dry surface, followed by mechanical fastening with screws. Silicone-based adhesives must never be used. Once screw holes and joints are filled with joint compound and sanded smooth using 180-220 grit sandpaper, the panel can be finished with two coats of water-based or synthetic paint.
- The P9140 vertical panel model, with its generous dimensions and high-relief motif, is highly versatile for both interior decoration and sheltered exterior applications
- Indoors, it is ideal for symmetrical in-frame wall designs in living rooms, headboard accent walls in bedrooms, TV backdrop walls, and vertical column cladding in prestigious commercial spaces like hotel lobbies, restaurants, and offices
- Outdoors, it can be used as a decorative vertical casing around windows, an accent panel between floor moldings, or as ornamental pillars flanking entrance doors
- Thanks to its waterproof and moisture-resistant properties, it is also highly suitable for Turkish baths, spas, and indoor pool areas
- The installation surface must be dry, clean, and level
- Apply Polure Polfix adhesive to the back of the panel and press it onto the wall
- To prevent slippage while the adhesive cures, mechanical fastening with screws is mandatory
- Once the adhesive has dried, fill the screw holes and panel joints with an exterior-grade acrylic filler
- Sand the filled areas smooth using 180-220 grit sandpaper
- After applying a primer (preferably recommended by your paint manufacturer) over the factory-applied primer, complete the installation by applying at least two coats of water-based or synthetic paint
- For exterior installations, using UV-resistant paint is mandatory
- Maintaining polyurethane panels is exceptionally easy
- For indoor applications, surface dust can be wiped away with a damp cloth
- Avoid using abrasive acids, thinners, or harsh chemical solvents during cleaning
- For outdoor installations, dust and dirt build-up can be removed using low-pressure water or a damp cloth
- To extend the lifespan of the exterior paint, we recommend inspecting the surface annually and performing local touch-ups as needed
