It is vital to recognize that these panels are purely architectural overlays and carry zero structural load capacity.

Selecting the correct dekupe panel thickness and pattern scale depends directly on ceiling height and wall proportions. For standard 2.70 to 3.00-meter interior ceilings, panel thicknesses between 15 mm and 30 mm maintain visual balance without overwhelming the room volume.

To calculate required materials accurately, follow these technical steps:

• Add a mandatory 10% waste allowance for 45-degree miter cuts and pattern alignment.
• Verify wall flatness across 2-meter straightedge spans to prevent panel distortion.

An additional coat of site primer is optional but recommended to equalize surface porosity before applying topcoats. For exterior facades, applying UV-resistant exterior topcoat paint is mandatory to prevent yellowing and degradation under direct sunlight.
