The P5920B is a circular column base designed to elegantly blend round columns with the floor in classical and neoclassical architectural projects. This structural element provides a balanced transition at the foot of load-bearing or decorative columns, enhancing overall visual harmony. It stands out as an essential finishing component for column systems in both interior designs and exterior facade cladding applications. By creating a seamless integration between the column shaft and the floor, it elevates the architectural aesthetics of any project.

The product features a base width of 256x256 mm and a height of 114 mm. Offering ideal proportions for medium-sized circular columns, this pedestal is manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-200 kg/m³). This specialized formula closely mimics the hardness of wood, offering high impact resistance while remaining lightweight for easy transport and installation. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, its water absorption rate is below 1%, preventing swelling, rotting, or deterioration even in highly humid environments. It also features self-extinguishing properties once the flame source is removed.

Its visual design features classic contours composed of overlapping circular layers (torus profile). The smooth surface finish and sharp transition lines capture the rich detail of traditional plaster molding or marble craftsmanship. However, unlike these traditional materials, it is not fragile and carries no risk of cracking during installation. With a temperature resistance ranging from -20°C to +80°C, the product maintains its dimensional stability during seasonal temperature shifts, preventing shrinkage or warping.

This base plinth is highly versatile, suitable for applications ranging from luxury residential entrances and hotel lobbies to villa facades and circular-columned verandas. It is preferred for concealing column joints in interior designs and establishing a solid foundation for column systems on exterior facades. Frequently featured in storefronts, wedding venues, and restaurant decors, this piece also protects the lower sections of columns from impacts. For outdoor applications, painting with UV-resistant coatings is mandatory to protect the material from sun damage.

During installation, Polure Polfix adhesive should be applied to cleaned surfaces, and mechanical screwing is strictly required for secure fastening. Shipped factory-primed, the surface ensures excellent adhesion for the topcoat. However, in line with paint manufacturers' warranty terms, applying an additional primer coat is optional and entirely at the user's discretion; Polure cannot be held responsible for paint applications. Significantly lighter than plaster alternatives, this decorative element reduces building load, does not rot like wood, and offers a long-lasting architectural solution.
