Can the product be painted directly, or is an additional primer required?
Our products are shipped from the factory with a white primer coat, which prepares the surface for the topcoat. However, paint manufacturers do not guarantee applications done without their own system primers. Therefore, applying an additional primer is entirely optional and left to the customer's choice. Polure does not guarantee paint applications.
How is it installed around existing structural iron or concrete posts?
Thanks to its circular design, the P5950B model can be applied as cladding around existing structural posts. For this process, the product is cut vertically into two equal halves, wrapped around the post, and secured using Polure Polfix adhesive and screws. Once the joints are filled and sanded, it is painted to achieve a seamless, single-piece appearance.
