The P5950B column base is a structural decorative element designed to provide an aesthetic transition where columns and pillars meet the floor. It can be easily adapted as a cladding around existing structural steel or reinforced concrete columns. When used outdoors, it must be coated with UV-resistant exterior paints to protect it from the degrading effects of sunlight.
During installation, once the surface is cleaned, the base is fixed using Polure Polfix adhesive and secured with mechanical screws. Shipped from the factory with a white primer coat, the surface is ready for the final topcoat. However, since paint manufacturers do not guarantee painted surfaces without their own primers, applying an additional primer is optional and left to the customer's discretion. Polure accepts no responsibility for the paints applied.
