Furthermore, its closed-cell structure keeps water absorption below 1%, preventing swelling, warping, or rotting in humid interiors like bathrooms and kitchens.

The hollow channels on the back provide a practical solution for concealing cables. The surface features a smooth finish and comes factory-primed. This primer ensures excellent adhesion for the topcoat. Since paint manufacturers may have their own priming standards, applying an additional primer coat is entirely optional.

After making 45-degree miter cuts for the corners, mechanical fastening with screws or brad nails is recommended. Once the joints are filled and sanded, the profile can be painted with any water-based or synthetic paint. Unlike moisture-sensitive MDF or wood, this durable architectural element retains its shape for years to come.
