Architectural scaling is the most critical phase in decorating commercial spaces, especially high-ceilinged wedding halls, ballrooms, and hotel lobbies. Large-scale column and arch installations made with traditional plaster or wood add extra static load to the building and prolong installation times. Thanks to their lightweight structure and high durability, Polure polyurethane architectural elements allow the rapid and safe realization of all classical architectural details in spacious venues. In this project, gold-leafed polyurethane columns and arches rising against deep blue wall surfaces create a powerful vertical axis in the space.
To evoke a structural load-bearing feel, majestic column groups integrate Polure P5220C, P5220C50, P5230I, and P5230I50 fluted column models with P5520, P552050, P5820, and P582050 column capitals and bases. The fluted shaft design maximizes the play of light and shadow, adding sculptural depth to flat wall surfaces. The smooth surface quality of polyurethane allows for the flawless application of delicate painting techniques such as gold leafing and patina. The rich detailing where the columns meet the ceiling beams directly enhances the perception of luxury and prestige in the room.
For the curved arch structures creating a rhythmic pattern on the backstage and side walls, P1456D135VI, P1456D160VIA, and P1456D160VID round arch models were utilized. These arches are combined with P1456 and P1470 flat casing profiles to create niche-like architectural spaces on the wall surfaces. Inside the wall panels, P2812L and P2812R symmetrical polyurethane ornaments bring Baroque and classical motifs into the space using modern production technology. Consequently, the walls transcend being mere boundaries and transform into focal art panels.
Polure polyurethane products offer superior durability in commercial areas with high foot traffic and physical contact, such as wedding venues. Their impact-resistant structure, moisture resistance, and contribution to acoustic performance make these materials the top choice for interior designers and hotel investors. Easy to cut, fast to bond, and time-saving on-site, these systems merge classical palace architecture with modern engineering advantages, optimizing project budget and time management.
- The depth of the column fluting refracts light from vertical fixtures, ensuring a homogeneous distribution of shadows.
- Combining round arched profiles (P1456D series) with flat vertical casings visually balances the height of high-ceilinged halls.
- The symmetrical placement of P2812L and P2812R ornaments beautifully reflects the 'golden ratio' of classical architecture on wall surfaces.
- The lightweight nature of polyurethane allows for heavy crown molding effects at wall-ceiling joints without adding static load.
- The contrast between the deep blue background and gold-leafed polyurethane details eliminates emptiness, creating a warm ambiance in large halls.
- Using column models of varying diameters (P5220C and P5520 groups) together enhances the sense of depth and layering within the space.
