Column systems and circular arch forms, some of the most majestic elements of classical architecture, come to life in this design with the rich detailing offered by polyurethane technology. Defining the vertical boundaries of the space, the grand fluted columns are created through a modular combination of P5220C, P5230I, P5830, and P5930B profiles. Unlike traditional stone or plaster applications, these column structures bring the stately and durable presence characteristic of palace architecture into the interior without adding static load to the building.
Circular niches, chosen to enhance the perception of depth on wall surfaces, are framed with the P1456D135VI and P1456D160VID round arch models. Providing seamless continuity along the vertical lines of the arches, the P1456 and P1470 jamb profiles merge with the wall panels to create an architectural rhythm. Wall sconces and decorative elements placed within these curved niches cast beautiful shadow plays, distributing light evenly thanks to the smooth surface of the polyurethane.
High-density polyurethane is the ideal choice for luxury salons and commercial spaces requiring high impact resistance. Intricately crafted decorative elements, such as the P82210 panels and P83000C short Roman columns, are resistant to cracking or crumbling over time, thanks to their resistance to moisture and temperature fluctuations. Gold leaf accents, perfectly complementing the deep blue wall paint, retain their brilliance and durability due to the low water absorption (below 1%) of the polyurethane surface.
The modular dimensional flexibility of the Polure product range ensures a perfect fit for varying ceiling heights using intermediate column shaft pieces like P5230I50 and P583050. This modular approach allows architects and interior designers to achieve flawless symmetry while significantly reducing on-site installation times. Designed in strict adherence to classical principles, this space stands as a prime example of how modern engineering solutions can be seamlessly integrated with classical decoration.
- The vertical lines of the fluted column models (P5230I, P5830) optically increase the ceiling height, creating a spacious feel.
- The P1456D135VI and P1456D160VID circular arch profiles add depth to flat walls, successfully replicating the arched niches of classical architecture.
- The contrast between the gold leaf details and the deep blue background is sharply defined, thanks to the exceptionally smooth surface of the polyurethane.
- The modular structure of the column shafts (P5230I50, P583050) offers installation ease and flexibility for projects with varying ceiling heights.
- P83000C short Roman columns serve as decorative pedestals inside the niches, reinforcing the classical architectural hierarchy.
- The impact-resistant nature of polyurethane ensures long-lasting durability in high-traffic commercial spaces like wedding halls.
