The polyurethane material is light and is applied directly with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted. Because the curved and angled forms are cast in a mould, the surfaces of the pieces are smooth and match one another. Being lighter than its plaster counterpart, it adds no extra load to the wall.
