Achieving a classic architectural aesthetic in large-scale event venues and banquet halls requires specialized engineering solutions due to both material durability and structural weight limits. Polyurethane decorative elements eliminate the heavy static loads and fragility associated with traditional plasterwork, enabling the creation of high-prestige commercial spaces. Large wall expanses and structural columns, commonly found in wedding venue designs, are transformed with palace-like depth using Polure's modular polyurethane components.
On the walls defining the vertical boundaries of the space, P5020P and P5030P series (P5020P, P5020BP, P5020C50, P5020CP, P5020D, P5020E, P5030P, P5030BP) polyurethane pilasters are arranged in a rhythmic pattern. These pilaster columns visually divide the grand hall into more intimate sections while perceptually elevating the ceiling height. Positioned at the top of the pilasters, P2857 and P2857S capitals ensure a seamless integration of vertical lines with ceiling cornices and molding groups.
To add movement to the wall surfaces, P14D40 architraves are used to create classic wall frames through symmetrical paneling. Above these frames and at vaulted ceiling transitions, P1456D115VI50, P1456D160VI50, and P14D40D260VI25 round arched molding models soften the sharp, angular lines of the room. These curved arch designs optimize acoustic wave distribution in event spaces while reflecting light from fixtures with soft shadows, maximizing the sense of depth.
In high-traffic environments like wedding venues, the impact resistance of decorative materials is critical. Polure's polyurethane formulation offers high resistance to impacts and friction, preventing surface deformation. Resistant to humidity and temperature fluctuations, these modular systems help reduce cracking at joints and offer quick installation, allowing commercial projects to be completed on schedule.
Design Details
- Acoustics and light reflection in large banquet halls are optimized by the width and deep profiles of polyurethane surfaces.
- P5020P and P5030P series pilaster columns divide large wall surfaces into structural sections, creating a more comfortable human-scale perception.
- P14D40 architraves used in wall paneling provide a depth that produces shadow play for the venue's lighting fixtures.
- The P1456D curved arch series supports vaulted ceiling transitions, perfecting the integration between ceiling and walls.
- The high impact resistance of polyurethane material reduces long-term maintenance costs in high-traffic event spaces.
- Choosing polyurethane over the heavy plasterwork of classic palace architecture minimizes the static load on the building structure.
