Classic Polyurethane Ceiling Medallion Model

The P7308 ceiling medallion is a decorative architectural element made of rigid polyurethane, designed to add depth to both interior and exterior ceiling designs. Offering a modern, lightweight alternative to traditional heavy plaster moldings, this model creates a symmetrical focal point on ceiling surfaces. Unlike plaster decorations, it carries no risk of cracking or crumbling during or after installation.

The product measures 605x605 mm in width and 86 mm in depth. This depth creates a subtle dome effect at the center of the ceiling, enhancing the vertical volume of the room. Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-200 kg/m³), the medallion offers a surface hardness similar to wood while remaining exceptionally lightweight. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, its water absorption rate is below 1%, ensuring it retains its shape without shrinking or warping, even in humid environments.

In terms of visual design, the center features a multi-layered circular floral motif. This motif is surrounded by circular bands adorned with bead strings and fine fluting. The corners of the square outer frame are embellished with classic leaf and scroll relief details. This geometric and circular symmetry perfectly complements projects with classical and neoclassical architectural styles.

Its areas of application are highly versatile. In residential spaces, it can be positioned at the center of chandeliers in living rooms, dining rooms, and spacious entryways. It is also preferred for enriching ceiling designs in commercial venues with high ceilings, such as hotel lobbies, wedding halls, restaurants, and administrative buildings. Thanks to its waterproof nature, it can be used without deformation in bathroom ceilings or outdoor semi-open areas like porches, terraces, and under-eave ceilings. For exterior applications, coating the material with a UV-resistant exterior paint is a technical requirement to prevent yellowing caused by sunlight.

During installation, the ceiling surface must be completely free of dust, moisture, and dirt. Mounting is performed using Polure Polfix adhesive, combined with mechanical fastening using anchors or screws suitable for the ceiling structure; relying solely on silicone adhesive is not recommended for safety reasons. Once screw heads and joints are filled with putty and sanded, the painting phase begins. The product is shipped factory-primed; however, an additional coat of primer is optional depending on the warranty terms of the paint manufacturer. It can be finished with two coats of water-based or synthetic paint.
