Polyurethane Oval Ceiling Medallion and Decorative Dome Model

The P7307 decorative ceiling medallion is a large-scale architectural panel designed to bring depth and structural richness to interior and exterior ceiling projects. Featuring a stepped oval structure set within a rectangular outer frame, it offers an extraordinary three-dimensional perspective on ceiling surfaces. Engineered as a modern alternative to heavy traditional plaster ornaments, this model minimizes structural load while elevating aesthetic appeal.

Manufactured from high-density, durable polyurethane (150-200 kg/m³), this model offers perfect geometric proportions for spacious ceilings with dimensions of 612 mm in width, 1215 mm in length, and 90 mm in depth. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, water absorption is below 1%. This structural stability ensures that the product retains its shape without swelling or cracking for many years, even in high-humidity environments like bathrooms and spas, or semi-exposed outdoor ceilings.

Looking closely at the design details, the symmetrical leaf and floral reliefs at the four corners of the outer rectangular frame carry classical architectural influences. The inner oval form is enriched with stepped transitions and delicate bead-and-reel carvings, creating a deep dome effect at the center of the ceiling. The factory-applied primer provides a smooth surface for paint adhesion. However, since paint manufacturers do not guarantee applications without their own primers, applying an additional primer coat before the final finish is optional and left to the customer's preference.

Spacious living rooms, hotel lobbies, restaurants, ballrooms, and grand entryways of luxury residences are the most common application areas for this oval medallion. It can be used as a centering element to elegantly conceal the ceiling mounts of large chandeliers, or positioned as an independent decorative panel in suspended ceiling systems. When painted with suitable UV-resistant paints, it can also be safely installed under exterior eaves.

Unlike plaster alternatives, this lightweight product carries no risk of cracking or crumbling, making installation remarkably easy. Once the ceiling surface is clean and dry, simply apply Polure Polfix adhesive to the back and align it on the ceiling. Due to its large dimensions, mechanical fastening with screws is mandatory. After covering screw heads and joints with filler and sanding them smooth, the surface is ready for painting.
