In addition to polyurethane adhesive, mechanical fixing using corrosion-resistant screws is mandatory for all ceiling roses and recessed domes to guarantee structural safety. Fasteners must be countersunk 2 mm below the profile surface along the outer perimeter at maximum intervals of 300 mm.
Surface Finishing, Sanding, and Coating Steps
Achieving a seamless architectural appearance requires precise joint finishing and painting techniques. Recessed screw heads and seam transitions must be filled using a high-grade flexible acrylic or polyurethane filler.
Once cured, sand filled areas smooth using 180-220 grit sandpaper to blend transitions flush with the product surface. Apply two complete topcoats of water-based or solvent-based paint. Although factory primer is pre-applied, adding a secondary primer coat remains optional but beneficial for achieving uniform topcoat sheen across filled areas.

Relying exclusively on adhesive without mechanical screw fixings creates severe structural detachment risks over time.
