Designed for those wishing to bring the clean lines of modern architecture into their living spaces, the P85003 wall profile blends minimalist aesthetics with technical excellence. Featuring an elegant cross-section with a width of 12 mm, a height of 16 mm, and a length of 2400 mm, this product is ideal for creating subtle, sharp lines on wall surfaces. Its lightweight structure ensures great ease of installation while adding depth to both vertical and horizontal surfaces.
The product is manufactured from high-quality rigid polyurethane with a density of 150-200 kg/m³. Offering a hardness close to the natural texture of wood, this structural feature provides high impact resistance. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, it has a water absorption rate of less than 1%, preventing swelling, shrinking, or cracking even in humid environments. It maintains its stable form against temperature fluctuations ranging from -20°C to +80°C.
Visually, the product features a smooth, half-round profile that gently curves outward from a flat back base. These clean and fluid lines support a serene interior style free from complex patterns. It provides a balanced, eye-pleasing transition, especially when creating symmetrical frames on modern living room, hallway, or bedroom walls.
This slim profile boasts a wide range of applications, making it a preferred choice from residential projects to hotel lobbies, restaurants, and office partitions. It is suitable not only for interiors but also for exterior facades as decorative bands or floor moldings once the necessary exterior painting is completed. Thanks to its lightweight nature, it delivers long-lasting performance in ceiling applications without sagging.
Unlike fragile plaster or wood alternatives, this polyurethane profile does not rot or break. We highly recommend using Polure Polfix adhesive for installation. The factory-primed surface facilitates the adhesion of the final coat of paint. However, due to paint manufacturers' warranty conditions for their own primers, applying an additional primer coat before the topcoat is entirely at the user's discretion. Polure does not assume responsibility for the performance of the applied paint.
- Thanks to its versatile design, the P85003 slim decorative molding offers a wide range of applications
- In interiors, it is highly preferred for modern wall framing projects in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, and entryways, as well as for wainscoting cap trims and ceiling-to-wall transitions
- Its delicate profile also makes it ideal for embellishing decorative panels on furniture doors or crafting custom mirror frames
- With its fully water- and moisture-resistant structure, it can be safely installed in humid areas like bathrooms and kitchens
- For exterior projects, provided it is coated with UV-resistant paint to protect against sunlight, it is perfect for creating elegant, aesthetic lines around window borders, floor divisions, or facade boundary lines
- Ensure the installation surface is clean, dry, and free of dust
- Cut the profile ends at a 45-degree angle using a miter saw for corner joints
- Apply Polure Polfix adhesive to the back of the prepared profile and press it firmly against the wall
- To prevent slipping until the adhesive is fully cured, secure it mechanically using small nails or screws
- Fill joints and screw holes with a high-quality exterior-grade filler, and once dry, sand smooth using 180-220 grit sandpaper
- The factory-primed surface is ready for painting; after an optional additional primer coat, complete the process by applying at least two coats of water-based or synthetic paint
- Since the product is completely resistant to moisture and water, cleaning is extremely practical
- Dust and dirt can be easily wiped away using a soft, slightly damp cloth
- Avoid using harsh chemicals, thinners, or abrasive detergents during cleaning, as they may damage the surface texture
- For exterior applications, we recommend checking the surface paint once a year and renewing it if necessary to extend the paint's lifespan and maintain its UV resistance
