Exterior Pilaster Installation

Exterior pilaster installation is the process of mounting half-column shaped polyurethane elements onto a building's exterior. The shaft, base and capital pieces are aligned on the facade, bonded with mounting adhesive, and supported with mechanical fasteners when needed. By creating vertical lines, the pilaster adds an architectural rhythm to the facade surface. Polyurethane is lightweight, so application on tall facades is easy and fast. It resists moisture, frost and outdoor weather, does not crack or swell, and can be painted with exterior facade paint.
