The P14D50 decorative facade element is specially engineered for exterior window and door framing (architraves) as well as creating horizontal transitions (belt courses) between floors. For installation, Polure Polfix adhesive is applied to a clean, dry surface before positioning the profile. Due to its large cross-section, mechanical fastening with steel screws is required to prevent slippage until the adhesive fully cures. While the factory primer provides a paint-ready surface, applying an additional primer is optional and at the customer's discretion, as paint manufacturers often recommend their own primers. For exterior applications, a UV-resistant topcoat exterior paint must be used to protect against sun exposure.
