Polure architrave

Polure architrave refers to the polyurethane architrave (door and window surround) products manufactured by Polure. An architrave is a decorative profile element applied around doors and windows that gives a frame-like look. It is used on interior and exterior facades to emphasise window and door edges and to give the facade an embossed frame. Polyurethane is lightweight; it is applied directly to the surface with mounting adhesive, resists moisture and impact, will not crack or blister, and can be painted. Because it is not affected by rain and moisture on the exterior, it keeps its shape for a long time. Being lighter than plaster and stone architraves, it is easier to mount at height and adds no extra load to the wall. Because Polure produces the architraves from a mould, the profile and cross-section details repeat identically on every part.
