In classical architecture, transition zones between rooms are essential structural elements that define the flow and spatial character of an interior. In this bedroom project, a monumental arched portal emphasizes the entry into the primary sleeping area. Matte blue wall finish accented with delicate gold leaf details highlights the crisp contours of the polyurethane door jamb mouldings and arch profiles, adding refined architectural volume to the space.
The portal arch is constructed using P14D30 jamb profiles that create a vertical supporting column effect. At the crown of the arch, the P14D30D160VI curved arch element introduces a fluid, elegant contour to the doorway. Decorative P8055A and P8055B ornaments installed at the capitals and central keystone combine traditional carved detailing with the lightweight efficiency and effortless installation of polyurethane.
On the adjacent wall surfaces framing the portal, P9135B panel mouldings and P85024M border trims create structured wall paneling. This symmetrical layout provides a balanced architectural background for the nightstands, lamps, and mirrors. Above, the P7145L ceiling medallion and dome details draw the eye upward, reinforcing the sense of room height.
Manufactured from high-density polyurethane, these architectural profiles resist moisture and impacts, delivering long-lasting performance in residential, hotel, and villa projects. Unlike conventional plaster, Polure polyurethane products resist cracking and take paint effortlessly, ensuring precise relief details through high-definition molding.
Design Details
The transition space featured here is transformed into a functional interior portal using polyurethane arch and moulding components. The P14D30D160VI curved arch softens room boundaries while emphasizing vertical clearance. Soft blue paint paired with gold gilding enhances the relief depth of classical carvings. Additionally, P9135B panel configurations on side walls create symmetrical balance around the nightstand and mirror setup. This technique offers a lightweight, durable architectural alternative to traditional plaster for room division in luxury homes and hotel suites.
