Curved Window Casing

A curved window casing is a polyurethane frame profile applied to the edges of windows and doors, shaped along curved rather than straight lines. It is typically used on windows with rounded top edges and on arched openings, following the curve of the opening. On the facade it highlights the window, while indoors it acts as a frame around doors and passageways. The polyurethane material is light, and because the curved form is mould-produced it runs evenly along the curve; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted with exterior facade paint. It is fixed directly to the wall with adhesive and dowels, making it lighter and faster to install than plaster or wood. Polure produces curved casings in different radius and width options.
