Polyurethane Window Surround Crown

A polyurethane window surround crown is an upper decorative element that sits on top of the casing frame and crowns the opening. It is usually placed over the header and gives a window or door frame a symmetrical top accent. It is used on exterior facades and indoors along the upper edge of openings. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is applied with adhesive and dowels; it resists moisture, frost and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted. It offers lower weight and faster installation than a stone or plaster equivalent. Because it is cast in a mould, the crown profile and surface detail repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces surround crowns in various width and motif options.
