The P5015IP pilaster capital is a classic architectural decorative element crafted from durable polyurethane, designed to complement flat half-column profiles mounted on wall surfaces. It brings the Ionic order—one of the most iconic styles of ancient Greek and Roman architecture—into modern spaces using advanced production technology. It is highly favored for adding depth to interior and exterior walls, crowning doorways, or accentuating fireplace surrounds.
The product features dimensions of 62 mm in height, 212 mm in width, and 145 mm in depth (projection from the wall). Thanks to these balanced proportions, it achieves perfect visual harmony with medium to large-scale pilaster shafts. Engineered from rigid polyurethane (rigid PU), it boasts an ideal density of 150-220 kg/m³. This high density provides a surface durability comparable to wood while remaining exceptionally lightweight. Its closed-cell structure helps it resist moisture and rot.
In its visual design, the iconic double volutes (scroll-like ornaments) of the Ionic order are rendered with sharp, distinct lines. During installation, the use of Polure Polfix polyurethane adhesive and mechanical fastening with screws is mandatory. For exterior applications, the polyurethane surface must be painted with a UV-resistant exterior paint to protect it from sunlight degradation.
