Column Capital Decoration
Column capital decoration describes the use of a polyurethane capital piece applied to the upper end of a column shaft to create a classic architectural look in a space. It is used in entrance halls, living rooms and facades to complete the top finish of a column decoratively. The polyurethane column capital is lightweight and applied with installation adhesive over the shaft; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Being lighter than a stone or gypsum capital, it makes installation easier. Polure produces column capital decoration in Doric, Ionic and Corinthian styles at different sizes using moulds, with the embossed detail repeating identically on every piece.
