The P5260C decorative column capital is a high-durability structural element designed to crown column and pillar designs in large-scale architectural projects. Inspired by the finest examples of classical architecture, this exclusive design adds a powerful visual character to building entrances, facades, or spacious interiors.
The product features monumental dimensions of 1085x1085x835 mm. Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-200 kg/m³), this capital offers wood-like hardness and excellent impact resistance. It is exceptionally lightweight compared to traditional concrete, marble, or plaster alternatives, ensuring it does not add to the building's static load while maximizing work safety during installation. It retains its shape in temperatures ranging from -20°C to +80°C without cracking or shrinking.
As clearly seen in the visuals, the surface features characteristic elements of the neoclassical style, including upward-curling acanthus leaves, spiral volutes at the corners, and elegant floral reliefs at the top center. Thanks to our advanced molding technology, even the finest carved patterns are rendered on the surface with smooth and sharp details.
This large-scale capital is highly preferred for completing non-load-bearing decorative columns, particularly in luxury residential projects, hotel lobbies, wedding and ballroom venues, and historical restoration works. With a water and moisture absorption rate of less than one percent, it can be safely installed in both indoor spaces and harsh outdoor environments.
The product surface is delivered with a factory-applied primer. While this primer prepares the surface for painting, paint manufacturers typically do not guarantee applications without their own undercoat products; therefore, an additional primer coat is optional and left to the customer's discretion. Polure assumes no responsibility for the performance of applied paints. For exterior installations, using UV-resistant paint is mandatory to prevent the unpainted polyurethane material from yellowing under sunlight.
- This monumental column capital is designed for the upper joints of large-diameter decorative circular or square columns
- It is highly favored for porch and veranda pillars at luxury villa entrances, high-ceilinged load-bearing column claddings in hotel lobbies, prestigious restaurant portals, and historical concept projects
- It serves as an aesthetic transition element in both interior hall designs and exterior column systems
- The installation surface must be dry, clean, and free of dust
- Only Polure Polfix adhesive should be used for joints and surface mounting; silicone-based adhesives must strictly be avoided
- Due to the product's large dimensions and weight, mechanical fastening with screws is mandatory
- After sealing joints and screw holes with exterior-grade filler, the surface should be smoothed using 180-220 grit sandpaper before proceeding to painting
- It can be easily cleaned using a damp cloth
- Avoid using abrasive acidic or basic chemicals during cleaning
- For outdoor applications, it is recommended to inspect the surface once a year depending on the paint condition and refresh the paint if necessary
- Fully painted products can be washed with low-pressure water
