Exterior Facade Surround Crown

An exterior facade surround crown is a polyurethane element placed on the upper edge of a window surround, acting as a top finishing ornament. It is used to emphasise the top of the window and add a crowning line to the surround. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is easily fitted with construction adhesive and screws; it resists moisture, frost and impact, does not absorb water, crack or blister. It can be painted with exterior facade paint. Being lighter than plaster and stone equivalents makes installation on the upper line easier. Because it is cast in a mould, the crown section and pattern repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces exterior facade surround crowns in different widths and pattern options.
