Designed for those wishing to bring classic architectural details into modern living spaces, the P8051 door and window pediment crown creates striking focal points on both facades and interiors. Complementing the tops of door frames, window casings, or furniture on feature walls, this decorative element adds depth and architectural character to any surface.
The product offers ideal visual proportions with dimensions of 40 mm depth, 1036 mm width, and 210 mm height. It is manufactured using high-density rigid polyurethane (150-200 kg/m³). While providing a surface hardness comparable to wood, its lightweight structure adds no extra load to the building. Its closed-cell structure keeps water absorption below 1%, ensuring complete resistance to moisture, rot, and harsh weather conditions. With a temperature resistance ranging from -20°C to +80°C, it does not expand or crack.
The visual design features a striking, symmetrical Baroque arrangement. A central vertical acanthus leaf motif merges with elegant spiral volutes and foliage patterns that curve outward to both sides. This deep relief structure enhances the play of light and shadow, creating a three-dimensional aesthetic on the surface. The design tapers toward the edges, providing a balanced finish for wide doors and windows.
Offering versatile applications, this decorative element is ideal for interior door architraves, fireplace mantel tops, or framing details for large wall mirrors. On exterior facades, it serves as an excellent alternative to create a classic cornice effect above window trims. Thanks to its moisture-resistant properties, it can also be safely used above mirrors in wet areas like bathrooms.
Unlike traditional plaster materials, this profile carries no risk of breakage and is much faster to install. It comes pre-primed from the factory. While the factory primer prepares the surface for the topcoat, please note that paint manufacturers may require an additional primer for their own system warranties; therefore, applying an extra primer is optional and at the customer's discretion. During installation, Polure Polfix adhesive must be used and supported with mechanical screwing.
- This decorative pediment crown offers a wide range of applications for both interior and exterior decoration, thanks to its width and elegant relief details
- In interior design, it can be used above double doors in spacious living room entrances, at the top of classic fireplace mantels, in headboard wall designs, or as a crowning piece for large built-in bookcases
- On exteriors, it serves as a complementary header for window molding sets in villa, hotel, or restoration projects
- Due to its fully waterproof and moisture-resistant structure, it can be safely installed above large mirror frames in bathrooms and spa areas without any risk of moisture-induced damage
- After preparing the dry and clean installation surface, Polure Polfix polyurethane adhesive is applied to the back of the product
- Once the product is positioned on the wall or facade, mechanical fastening by screwing at specific points is mandatory to secure it until the adhesive cures
- Screw holes and joints are filled with high-quality exterior filler
- After the filler dries, a smooth surface is achieved using 180-220 grit sandpaper
- An additional primer can optionally be applied over the factory primer according to the paint manufacturer's recommendation, followed by two coats of water-based or synthetic paint
- For exterior applications, the use of UV-resistant paint is mandatory
- Thanks to its closed-cell structure, the polyurethane pediment does not absorb water or rot
- It can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth
- To avoid damaging the product surface, do not use abrasive powder detergents, stiff brushes, or harsh acid-based chemical cleaners
- To extend the lifespan of products used on exterior facades, the paint condition should be checked periodically and repainted if necessary
